Locale Learning - Candidate information session

    Learn about being a councillor

Deciding whether to put your hand up to represent your community as a local councillor is a big decision. So that you can be impactful and effective in the role (if you are elected!), it is important to know what is in store,

Your council is hosting an online and in-person information session so that you can learn more about how local government works and what your job will be if you are elected.

This online course supplements these information sessions and includes resources to help you make an informed and considered decision about standing in the election.
